The Tallgrass Prairie Center will host Buchanan County farmer Richard Sloan presenting"A Farmer's Experience with Prairie Strips." Sloan has established prairie strips in some of his fields to save soil and support wildlife. He will shares his experience with prairie strips and how 21st century farming is much more than maximizing production of corn and soybeans. The seminar is free and open to the public.
