Making Pies at Hy-Vee

On Sunday, February 10, several members and friends helped make apple pies at the University Street Hy-Vee in Waterloo. Gloria Adams, Chelse Monnier, Holly Gleich, and Anne Dvorsky along with Curt Monnier (Chelse’s brother) and advisor Chris Schrage made pies to sell in the bakery. Brochures were also handed out and the story of Muchas Manos Light Work shared with those passing by. One financial donation was sent to the group a couple of weeks later.
