Workshops Overview
 

Iowa Communications Network (ICN) Workshops:
IETTI staff have conducted over 500 ICN workshops and trained over 9,000 Iowa educators to use the Iowa Communications Network (ICN).  The workshops range from 1/2 day to 3-day comprehensive workshop sessions.  

Specific Educational Technology Workshops:
IETTI staff have conducted over 1,000 educational technology workshops and trained over 15,500 Iowa educators in various educational technology topics.  The workshops range from 2 hour to multi-day workshops, depending on the topic.  Topics include:

  • Microsoft Office applications
  • Internet (Re)Searching
  • E-Portfolios
  • Computer presentation programs such as Power Point
  • Learning Management Systems, such as WebCT
  • Digital audio and video
  • Electronic still imaging using
  • Creating Web Pages.
  • Video conferencing
  • Strategic Planning for Educational Technology
