Showcase on Educational Technology  in Iowa Schools

The Winners Have Been Selected!

Each year Iowa teachers are invited to share innovative and exemplary ways they are using technology in the classroom -- and perhaps qualify for a monetary prize to augment their technology resources. This year 20 PreK-12 projects  were selected as winners of $500 each, to further their exemplary projects.

Click here to see the list of the 20 winning projects.

Since 1995, PreK-12 schools along with higher education institutions have submitted application forms describing their educational technology projects. Over 1700 total projects have been submitted to the Showcase. All projects are entered into a database which educators may search by grade level, subject area, type of media and other aspects. The site is http://www.uni.edu/ietti/showcase.

The Showcase project is sponsored by the Iowa Department of Education, Iowa Public Television and the Iowa Educational Technology and Training Institute (IETTI) at the University of Northern Iowa with partial funding from the U.S. Department of Education Star Schools project.
