Adding an External Representative or a Student to a Search Committee

Form Instructions

  1. An external search committee would not include the following employee groups: Institutional Officials, Academic Administrators, Faculty, P&S, Merit and Graduate Assistants.
  2. Before completing this form, please verify if the external search committee member has ever been a student or employee at UNI. Indicate their UID below.1

  3. Please complete a new form for each search or requisition number.

Restricting access to Jobs@UNI and using secure authentication for search committee members is key in maintaining privacy for our applicants. Therefore, all search committee members must be processed in e-Business Suite. Human Resource Services will complete the necessary processing steps for the search team. Processing may take up to three working days. Once completed, the contact listed below will receive an email indicating the search committee member can now be added to the Jobs@UNI Search Requisition.

Use this form to submit information on an additional external committee member for the same search.

1If the external search committee member is a current student, former student, and/or former employee, please indicate their UID. If they do not remember their UID, please ask them to provide their name at the time they were a student/employee and their birth month and day (do not ask for year). If we generate a generic UID it could negatively affect them if they ever become a student and/or employee.
