A few reminders for the start of the semester...

Instructors: You must make your UNI eLearning course available to students in order for them to have access to it. Information and directions are located at:

Students: Use of the UNI eLearning system is based on the instructor's discretion. Although all UNI courses have an eLearning course, the Instructor must make that course available for students to have access. Students will have access only to the course(s) in which they are officially registered and the Instructor has made the eLearning site available. If you do not see a course listed, please contact the Instructor of the course(s) to see if they are using the UNI eLearning System and if they have made their eLearning course available to students.

On Friday, December 30, 2016 from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. (noon) CST, the UNI eLearning System will be UNAVAILABLE for an extended period while we install a newer version of the Blackboard Learn 9.1 software and building blocks. Information about the new features and enhancements is located at: .

UNI is conducting a review of our Learning Management System (LMS), Blackboard Learn (branded as "UNI eLearning"). In order to be transparent in the LMS review process, IT-Educational Technology & Media Services has developed a website that will be kept up to date with the latest information on the review progress. All students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to review the information and provide feedback about the UNI eLearning System by visiting the Gathering Stakeholder Feedback page and completing the anonymous survey.

On Wednesday, November 23, 2016 from 5:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. CST, the UNI eLearning System will be UNAVAILABLE for maintenance to install application and database server patches. These are patches for the servers that the UNI eLearning System runs on. There are no changes to the UNI eLearning (Blackboard Learn) software.
