UNI School of Music to host 38th annual Scholarship Benefit Concert

"Coming Attractions" will be the theme of the 38th Annual Scholarship Benefit Concert, hosted by the UNI School of Music. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27 at the Great Hall in the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center (GBPAC) on the University of Northern Iowa campus. Pre-concert music will be performed by the UNI Children’s Choir from the Great Hall stage, while a chocolate course is served in the lobby, beginning at 6:45 p.m.

Family business forum breakfast series announced

The University of Northern Iowa’s family business programming continues to expand. This year, a five-part breakfast forum series focused on family business planning and family succession planning has been announced and will kick off in September. The first forum, “Developing the Next Generation”, will take place at 8 a.m. on Sept. 20 at the Courtyard By Marriott in Ankeny.  A panel of family-business owners from small, medium and large businesses will discuss how they are developing the next generation.
