Brice Smith
Gender pioneer, Brice D. Smith, to speak at UNI

Brice D. Smith, gender pioneer and author of "Lou Sullivan: Daring to be a Man Among Men," will speak at UNI at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 15, in Bengtson Auditorium in Russell Hall. Smith's book was chosen for the fall 2018 President's Diversity Common Read, which has been an excellent way to foster understanding of a particular subject, create new learning spaces and develop a culture that is more welcoming of differences.

Theatre UNI to present 'She Kills Monsters'

Theatre UNI will present "She Kills Monsters" by Qui Nguyen at 7:30 p.m., Nov. 28, 29 and 30, and Dec. 1, and at 2 p.m., Dec. 2, in the Strayer-Wood Theatre on the UNI campus. "She Kills Monsters" is the second offering of Theatre UNI’s 2018-19 season.

Friends of the UNI Museum to host Holiday Festival of Lights

Join the Friends of the UNI Museum for the Holiday Festival of Lights from noon to 3 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 2, at the Marshall Center Schoolhouse on the UNI campus. Participants can share stories about holiday traditions from around the world, eat treats, create decorations and frost cookies.
