The 16th Annual Second City International Conference on Disability Studies in Education, in collaboration with the Midwest Summer Institute on Inclusion and Communication, will be held from Monday, June 27 through Tuesday, June 28, at the Embassy Suites in Des Moines.
A gift of $2.47 million from the estate of H. Theodore (Ted) Dohrman will be used to establish the Theodore and Mary Dohrman Presidential Scholarship Fund at UNI. Income generated from this endowment fund will be used to provide scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students involved in the Presidential Scholars Program.
UNI's School of Music will host the Midwest International Piano Competition on Sunday, June 5, through Saturday, June 11, on the UNI campus. The event is open to the public, and youth and professional performing pianists and piano enthusiasts are encouraged to attend.
