Cover Letter XML Resource
Jobs@UNI Support is aware of the issue of Cover Letters appearing as markup text and we are working to have this issued fixed in the future. The following resource is a temporary tool to assist with the reading of Cover Letters.
The background on this issue is that Microsoft Word documents created with the (.docx) format are based on the Office Open Extensible Markup Language or XML. This format contains additional data and a set of codes called tags that describe what the data means. Certain web browsers used by applicants allow for this additional data to be copied and pasted into their Cover Letter.

Notes:
- You do not need to refresh the page when pasting in a second cover letter, the page will automatically update after the XML data is pasted into the text box.
- The online example provided is for viewing only, it will not work to test this example.
