• PC: Go to Start, Programs, Microsoft Office, then click "Microsoft Office Power Point"
• MAC: Launch PowerPoint from the Launcher
• A blank slide comes up automatically.

Applying Designs:

• To add designs to your slides, select "Slide Design" from the "Format" menu (see the picture below)

• In the right pane of the screen, design choices will appear. Simply click on one of the pictures to apply the design to your current slide, or to apply to all slides click the arrow on the right of the thumbnail that appears as you hold your mouse over it. Then click "Apply to All Slides" as shown below.
• Notice the option below "Slide Design," "Slide Layout." This option is used to change the layout of your slides. Again, when this option is chosen, layout choices become available on the right pane. They are applied to slides the same way as designs.

Adding Slides

After you have chosen your design and finished your first slide, you are ready for your next slide. Simply chose "New Slide" from the "Insert" menu. Format the design and layout using the instructions above. REMEMBER: SAVE OFTEN!!
