UNI moving to online classes and operations on Wednesday, March 5
Due to a forecasted winter weather event, the University of Northern Iowa campus will move entirely to online operations on Wednesday, March 5. During this period of weather-related online operations, in-person classes will NOT meet. Instructors for in-person classes may move their class to an online format with prior notification. Students should look for communication from their faculty members. Online and virtual classes will proceed as scheduled.
Supervisors should communicate with their employees about working remotely on Wednesday. Please remain safe by staying home if you have not been identified as essential personnel. Current plans are for campus to resume normal operations and in-person instruction on Thursday, March 6. Should those plans change, updated information will be communicated.

Updates on Class/University Cancellations
Whenever possible, the University will remain open during inclement weather. However, we encourage students, faculty and staff to use good judgment and avoid serious risks when traveling to and from campus.
