Location

Seoul is the capital city of South Korea. It is also the largest metropolis of the Republic of Korea. A fascinating blend of ancient traditions and cutting-edge digital technology, home to endless street food vendors and vast nightlife districts, an extraordinarily high-pressure educational system and serene Buddhist temples, a trend-setting youth culture and often crushing conformism, extraordinary architecture and endless monotonous rows of grey apartment buildings, Seoul is a city filled with stark contrasts.

SWU offers a tailored Social Welfare program for UNI Students. The customized program is intended to ensure that UNI Social Work students stay on track with graduation. In addition to an internship opportunity, students will take a language course, and depending on the semester, one or two English taught Social Welfare courses. Students can choose to take just classes, or classes and an internship/volunteer hours. Upon applying students will choose from the following agencies for their internship experience.

  • Aging/Gerontology
