Shull Hall was built in 1964 and sits on the south side of campus as part of the “Quads”. One of UNI’s traditional residence halls, it is home to upperclass students living in Transfer, Upperclass and STEP Living Learning Communities, with a total of 4 houses. To be eligible, students must have 30+ credit hours, at least one year post high school experience, a 2.0 or higher GPA and in good standing with the university at time of move in. Shull is a co-ed hall, where students primarily live in super single rooms. Meal plans are required for students who live in Shull Hall. Shull is connected to the Piazza dining center and Redeker Center, with easy access to Gallagher Bluedorn, McLeod Center, and the bus stop. Shull Hall is open all year round, offering students a place to stay during the summer months. Air conditioners are installed in all rooms for the summer.
